I have always love an old fashion typewriter.
I love the vintage feel and the ancient sound it makes.
I love the beautiful and artsy words and sentences it creates.

However, being in Japan means it is extremely expensive to get even a second handed functional typewriter. (well I was able to get one which is the same price as a brand new one in we are memory keepers but that is another story)
I have seen a wonderful artist altering a real size typewriter in mixed media style and even though I wish I could do the same but I was pretty sure I would never be able to pay 100dollar just to alter.
As you can see and compare with the Prima paste bottles, they are a bit bigger than hand size. It was originally a piggy bank and there is a hole to put in the coins on the back.
I chose mainly Prima's metal embellishments to decorate the surface. Some writing related elements like the pen nib fm TIm Holtz and paper clips
Every angle of the part is pretty !!
I also distressed a piece of small paper and stamped with a Carabelle studios stamp for final touch.
Thank you for looking and I hope you like it!
