Multiple Layers Bag for Craft O'Clock

 

 This is my 2nd project for Craft O'Clock,

 I  have made a multiple layers bag using the Mists of Toolbox Town.

This collection is perfect for creating grungy looking carriers, s

o I made this 9" x 9" bag, 

which can be opened on both sides, with lots of details, 

storage and secrets inside.

You can have a look at my video to see how it operates. 

All the tools, insect samples , tags and envelopes are safely stored in different layers of this bag. Come look for them !

Steampunk Handbag

Hello ! We all love some steampunk moody handbag, don't we ? 

Here I present you my own one 

in a little bit bigger than 8" x 8" , 

using the very gorgeous paper collection "Wings of freedom"

This handbag has two small pockets in the front, 

a big opening that hold a mini album, and a small back pocket. 

There are also a lot of gadgets like mini mini box, 

mini handbook, side pockets and pen holder !

Different parts on the cover moves to allow

more freedom according to your creativity !
hang something here and there,

add a paper clip!
It is fun to decorate and use this handbag !

Altered box with cat feet for Mitform Castings

 

Even the brightest color has its shadow.

This is the concept of this altered box with tiny cat feet.

I like my projects to have shadows,

because it is how a subject shows its depth,

not just a flat dull and lifeless object.

Rusty Long box

I love to find out new formula to create rusty effect, especially with limited resources of certain color choices.

This time it took literally hours for me to figure these out

to color my altered box in rusty style.

Here is the list of the formula I explored:

Rusty orange - Izink pigment Burnt orange + dye spray honey + dye spray coffee

Rusty brown -   Izink pigment Burnt orange + Fresco finish Squid ink + dye spray Tea + ICE Greenland + black gesso

Mint green - Fresco finish Turquoise + Fresco finish Green patina

Musky green - Izink pigment Olive drab + pigment Stratosphere

Texture - Izink Sandy paste + Embossing Powder (Lindy's gang chunky)

I know I have said in my Fb live that Pigment ink is for small area. 

But if you have patience and you are happy to create layers upon layers,

 then pigment ink is a good media to build up 

the depth mixing with other media 

because you only need a bit of amount to add up the tone.  

Also it does function as replacement as

 I do not have a wide variety of Fresco finish paint colors.

Mixed Media Steampunk Wings

 

if you have followed me for a while,

you would know that I really am obsessed with any forms of 
WINGS !

ご存じの方もいらっしゃると思いますが

翼・羽類にとてつもなく執着する傾向があります

so here, I cannot miss the chance to

alter the brand new devil wings 
(made fm mould)

ということで

最近はやりのデビルウィングを
スチームパンクスタイルにしました

I altered them into a steampunk style

just like the ones I did last year .

去年作ったバージョンもご覧くださいね

I applied heavy texture on these two 

as I would love them to be a bit over the top impact

わざとちょっと大げさなくらい

かなり　強めに質感をつけました。
