Mixed Media Mermaid

Hi all, welcome to my website. As you may notice, I am making some changes to the
whole appearance here and there. I hope you enjoy your time here with me.

Today I want to share a new project using the gorgeous stamps and stencils designed
by the great artist Kassa Hayselden with AALL and Create.

The reason why I chose mermaid as a project was coming fm a inside joke between
the two of us. She is the mermaid and I am the tinny tiny sands under the sea.
 (PS her precious furbaby Sammy is the seahorse)

Kassa is a wonderful supporting friend of mine. 

To have such a  great well known artist as her to notice me and spend time talking to me is
a great honor.

I was so happy to be able to order all her designed stamps and stencils fm AALL and Create
They are awesome quality and very versatile.

I stamped a lot on the surface but you know how mixed media is, it covers lol but I like it in
the way as it is.

IThe concept of this piece is the ancient old underwater ground slowly turns into the bright
vivid beautiful colors. Just like what the little mermaid has envisioned in her mind.
I used layers of layers Finnabair Impasto and metallique to paint the background and also
some Sparks on the mermaid. The rusty effect was created very easily with the latest Finnabair
rusty sets.
