Hello !
I was invited by my Russian friends to representing Asia
in this special Instagram event happening right now.
I made an embroidery hoop in Japanese style.
I used many washi (Japan special made paper) in Japanese ancient printing pattern,
in red, white, purple and gold.

和風な刺繍枠を作りました。
和紙をたくさん用いて
それから和の柄が入っている赤、白、紫と金の紙で
ダイカットをいっぱい切り抜きレイヤーに入れました。
I decorated with a lot of cherry blossom, which is the symbol of Japan.
日本といえば桜でしょうということで
ロシアの友人が作った桜をいっぱい飾ります
You may notice I used a lot of circle shape in this piece. One of the main Japan culture is "harmony": harmony between human and nature, harmony of relationship, it is very important for us.
今回のポイントとしては
円をいっぱい作ったことです。
ご存じの通り、円は日本では円満、調和を表し
この日本において大きいな文化を表現したかったです
I also used some Japanese cord "Mizuhiki" to bind the elements together. I hope you like this project from Japan !
