The other day I was talking to two good friends in different time abt how I hate working with the color pink. which I really do avoid using pink in my work. I just feel it is too girly and I dont know how to handle it haha
何日か前、友人二人とピンク色について話しました。実は私は大のピンク苦手で、私の作品ではなかなかピンクを使うものないです。ピンクをどうやって扱うのかわからなくいつも避けてました。
So I took it in my heart and kind of want to challenge myself for a change.
maybe the universe decided it is the time and I found some realllly gorgeously beautiful silk flowers in my craft store yesterday after finishing my workshop. And I just took them home and planned this on my way home.
だから心のどこかに、いつかはピンクにチャレンジするんだと密かに決めた。
もしかして運命かもしれながい、昨日行ったワークショップのあと、イーストサイドトウキョウさんのシルクフラワーコーナーでこの豪華で素敵なローズを見かけました。思わず連れて帰ることにして、帰宅途中にこの作品のプランを立てました。

I used a Prima resin frame as the base, then surrounded the whole frame with some dried moss and then added flowers on the top. The silk flowers look just like the real ones and they have many petal layers. created such beautiful elegant shape as a wreath.
プリマのレジンフレームをベースに、モスを土台にして、シルクフラワーを囲むように入れました。シルクフラワーと思わないほど本物そっくりの美しさ。
After gluing them to the canvas, I started using Lindy's gang sprays Alpine Ice Rose to add on the background and the stenciled part. After that I put some lightly touch of Poppin' pink, then combined Magical shaker Oom Pah Pah Pink and Cuckoo Clock Cardinal to different area.

Then I started using the brand new Finnabair Texture fantasy Purple to add more accents to the piece.
最後は新商品のFinnabairさんテクスチャファンタジーの紫色を合わせて仕上げました。
Cannot forget some sparkles !!
